Privacy
How we treat your information
This is the privacy notice for StepLoom. It covers the people who make demos and the people who open them.
What we collect from you
Your name, your email and a password. The password is stored scrambled, so we cannot read it.
The demos you make: pictures, captions, translations and voices.
Anything you write to us on the Talk to us form.
What we collect from your viewers
Only what the Your data page lists: steps reached, time on each step, language, how they arrived, the kind of device and the country or time zone.
If you turn on the contact form, the details a viewer chooses to type, and the consent they gave.
What we use it for
To run the service, to show you your Step Report, and to answer you when you write to us.
We do not sell personal information and we do not show adverts.
Who else handles it
We use hosting and reading services to run the product. The reading that writes, hides and translates runs in the European Union.
We give a viewer's details only to the person whose demo they opened.
Your choices
You can see, change and delete your demos at any time.
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through the Talk to us page.
Laws such as the EU's GDPR and Nigeria's NDPA give people the right to ask what is held about them and to have it deleted. You do not need to name a law to ask.
